New optical measuring machine in the Gustavsburg production line

A new optical measuring machine was installed in the production line at HÖRMANN Automotive in Gustavsburg, which can measure a 12 m long frame longitudinal member with more than 800 holes in less than a minute. Following its successful commissioning, the machine was used not only for quality monitoring in series production but also for fine adjustment of the first converted punching line and for commissioning the second punching line.

In future, AI approaches can help to detect process fluctuations even faster and react to them more easily. The new measuring machine is the basis for a high level of quality combined with high productivity. It makes it possible to meet current and future customer requirements.
